today we discussed about the assignments that were to be done for nov 2011. such as the AA'BA (8bars), singing indonesia pusaka, and music survey. then we were given time to continue our AA'BA' song.

in instrument class, i uploaded my videos using the school's computer because there were some technical problems with my computer. next, i have to finish my AA'BA' song and keep updating my blog.

today we listened Mr.Herry explain about expanding our AA'BA' (4bars) into 8 bars. then i made my own variation and wrote it in my music notebook.
in instrument class, i played my extended song which consists of 8 bars and figured out the chords that fits for each bar. next, i have to finish my song and keep practicing

this is me singing the song 'Back To December' - Taylor Swift. i think i did a good job because my pitch sounded good. although, i still need to improve my memorizing the lyrics instead of reading them.

this is my song called Butterfly Fields. this song is based on the AA'BA' format. i think this song is good because it sounds cheerful based on the title itself. i still need to improve my playing it with my left hand in order to make the song better

Back To December

Minor Scale

the minor scale isnt so hard to play, but i still need to improve by playing it more faster thus without any mistakes

Major Scale

this is the major scale from C-B. i played each with 4 octaves and i think i need to practice more so i will be able to play it without hesitation

Seventh Chords

i am practicing the seventh chords on the piano from C, D, E , F, G, A, B. i learned that these chords are frequently used in songs. 

"The Children's Corner" Debussy

this is me playing "the children's corner-debussy" for the assesment. i think i did quite well although i still need to improve by making each notes more clear

CHROMATIC SCALE

im playing a chromatic scale from C which ranges until a total of 4 octaves. i find the chromatic scales quiet easy but i need to be careful with the fingering

today i learned about scales and time siganatures, i also re-wrote my AABA song and played it on the piano. i think i did a good job but i still need to practice more
